Chocolate Cherry Protein Pancakes

Cherry Protein Pancakes


Yield 4-5 Pancakes (1 serving)

Ingredients:

1/4 c. Ground Oats 

1 Serving Chocolate Protein Powder 

1 tbsp. Coco Powder 

3 tbsp. Egg Whites 

Dash of Baking Soda 

Dash of Xantham Gum

Dash of Salt 

Add Water to Desired Thickness 

Topping:

1/2 c. Frozen Dark Cherries (Thawed)

1 c. Vanilla Greek Yogurt 

Juice from Frozen Dark Cherries 

Directions:

1) Mix oats, protein powder, coco powder, egg whites, baking soda, xantham gum, and salt. Add water to desired thickness.  

2) For topping, mix greek yogurt with cherry juice. Fold in thawed dark Cherries and set aside. 

3) Heat pan over low heat and spray with non-stick cooking spray. Add 1/4 c. pancake mix and cook 2-4 minutes per side until golden brown. 

5) Spread topping mixture over pancakes and enjoy!
